Alessandro Stievano

Alessandro Stievano, is currently the research coordinator of the Centre of Excellence for Nursing Scholarship of OPI Rome – Italy (CoE) and Vice-President of the European Nurse Director Association (ENDA).

He is also a nurse research fellow for the University of Messina – Italy, a visiting professor for Boston College – USA and an adjunct professor at Case Western University (USA). He received an Honorary Fellow ad Eundem from the Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery – Royal College of Surgeons – Dublin (Ireland) in 2016 and a fellowship at the American Academy of Nursing (2018). He is an expert on learning processes and has received a master’s degree in education (Rome Three University, Italy) and another in Sociology from the University of Bologna – Italy. He is the author of publications on a national and international level. He is the President of the Italian Transcultural Nursing Association.
