Ana Cartaxo

Ana Cartaxo has been working at the Austrian National Institute for Public Health (Gesundheit Österreich GmbH, GÖG) since January 2024. As a registered nurse, she studied nursing and social sciences at the University of Vienna and applied statistics at the FCT School of Science and Technology at NOVA University of Lisbon. Her doctoral thesis focused on ‘missed care’, its determinants and consequences for professional nurses. Following research at the University of Vienna and the Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences in Krems, she currently teaches statistics and introductory courses in nursing research at various universities and universities of applied sciences in Austria. Ana Cartaxo is mainly involved in projects focusing on the Austrian Dementia Quality Register, Nursing Reporting, Health Care Professions Register and Job Satisfaction Surveys in Health Care Professions
