Mr. Fulterer is an organizational developer at the LKH-Univ. Klinikum Graz and therefore part of a group of around 10 persons initiating, leading and consulting change projects with an integral and systemic Lean Management focus. In addition the hospital wide role out of the digital medical record was process-oriented led by his unit. He also played a vital role in different organizational change project such as fusions of medical departments and the creation of specific medical excellence centres. 

Currently Martin Fulterer is leading a Lean Transformation of the polyclinics Angiology, Rheumatology and Endocrinology, teaching in the in house Lean Academy, is part of the Lean Transformation of his Management Department, involved in a Lean Transformation of surgery of the Clinic of Urology and leading the Lean Transformation of the ward station at the clinic of Radiotherapy-Radiooncology. This multiprofessional projects aim at developing new process standards and new ways of collegial communication in order to serve with enhanced medical services and establish more attractive working environments, as well as enabling high quality education, teaching and training over all professional groups.

While in his Bachelor in Social- and Cultural Anthropology he studies the diversity of human created cultures, codes and systems, he focused on complexity of sustainability and participation processes in his Master degree. His pre-hospital background lies in NGO-Consulting, process and strategic work and teambuilding – besides being a tourism professional.
